Description
The Metal Plant Yard Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the metal plant. This includes safety, quality, management of the work force, training/cross training to insure all contingencies are met, and overall employee morale objectives are met.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of direct supervisory experience or five years experience in a scrap yard environment.
- A well-developed background in safety and accident prevention
- A broad understanding of metal, metal products, their markets and the value drivers for the product.
- Ability to train and enforce ISO/Safety policies.
- Licensed to drive heavy equipment and ability to train and evaluate heavy equipment operators.
- Ability to effect minor repairs on equipment
